Internship Overview

This societal internship focuses on engaging with elderly citizens to provide companionship, emotional support, and recreational activities. Students will spend time in care homes or community centers, listening to stories, organizing games, and facilitating wellness sessions. The program emphasizes understanding the challenges of aging, including loneliness, health concerns, and social isolation. By interacting with seniors, students develop empathy and respect for older generations. They will also conduct awareness sessions on nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. Reflection activities help students appreciate the value of intergenerational bonds and the importance of creating inclusive spaces for elderly care and dignity
